If you’re looking for a good spot for a drink after Super Bowl 50, we’ve got a couple ideas. In between your Super Bowl Party, your traveling, and meeting your friends, check out one of these bars near Levi’s Stadium. If you’re team lost (or didn’t even make it to the playoffs) maybe you’ll find sympathetic in other football fans.
You can take this small break to watch all the Super Bowl ads on your phone that you missed while you were at the game. Maybe get to know the new friends you found sitting in the seats next to you, or enjoy the crazy atmosphere that is The Super Bowl.
Here’s our picks for the good bars to try near Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara:
Normandy House Lounge
It’s usually a hub for 49ers fans. But, they’ll probably have to make way for the huge influx of Super Bowl hysteria in the San Francisco 49ers territory. This bar features lots of always popular games to play, like pool tables, as well as a vintage arcade section. How awesome does that sound? It is probably the only bar near the Super Bowl 50 stadium that will let you play your friend, who’s team beat your team, in air hockey.

By-Th’-Bucket Bar and Grill
It’s been open since 1959. Gotta love neighborhood places. They always have a certain charm. By-Th’-Bucket Bar and Grill has a good atmosphere, and lots of TVs to watch post-game analysis and 2016 season predictions. It’s an opportunity to sit back and try a signature cocktail and see what’s going on in the non-football sports world. Their cioppino is particularly good, if you’re hungry after all that cheering. And apparently they just got a gelato case. Nice!

Evolution Cafe and Bar
This is something of a nicer bar with a more “techie” vibe. It harks back to the technology base that’s given San Francisco a big boost in recent years. Evolution Cafe and Bar is a bit more sophisticated than the regular hole-in-the-wall joint. It’s a good place for Santa Clara nightlife in general, but on Super Bowl Sunday you can bet it’s going to be hoppin’. 10 draft beers on tap as well as good shrimp tacos. And now we’re hungry just thinking about it. Great.

Characters
Don’t overlook a hotel bar. There’s always the option of trying one out, if you’re looking for a place to go after all that historic football. The Characters bar inside the Santa Clara Mariott is a pretty good option. Catch the replays of the big action plays you missed because you were on your phone trying to take a selfie of you with the whole crowd. They’ve got food as well, if you get hungry waiting for your after Super Bowl parties to start.
2700 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95054
Woodhams Sports Lounge
It might be a bit of a dive bar. It’s got jukebox and karaoke. But that doesn’t make it any less fun. Woodhams Sports lounge is a fairly inexpensive place with good bartenders and good crowds. Different places are always worth a try on the off chance you could find a new favorite worth the trip down, or up, depending on where you’re from. If the Super Bowl is already crazy, it will only make this bar even better.
